9 months of craziness at my house!!!

Hey hey! Long time no blog. but at least I have pictures!!!! The first one is my ultimate favorite on my kiddos.





Things that has been happening or will happen!

We have decided to put Mason into dancing starting in August. I know I can teach her, but I'd rather her have the socialization with kids her age. At that age, that's what dancing is all about. I made some good friends from dancing, and I still talk to a few of them. :D So I'm going register her in the next two weeks!!! Myself, as a dancer, is jumping with glee for this day.

I took Mason to the movies to watch Up! She did well until the "real sound" came on. If you have been to the movies, you understand. I had her calmed down to watch the Ice Age 3 trailer, and well after that she lost her marbles. so at least I got my money back.

JJ is into EVERYTHING!!!! I didn't have to worry about Mason getting into anything at his age. She was like a "whatever" kid. JJ is more the curious getting into everything kind of kid. He also goes after the pets. I just saw Ty on his back around JJ. If you know my cat, you know he hates having his belly rubbed. Yes, he is the devil spawn. But the things my kid does to the dog and cat, makes me realize the decision about my other dog was the best thing for that dog. He would of bite the beejeezus out of both of my kids.

Orange Beach 2009

Hey everyone!!!! I will update with loads of pictures! they are at the bottom of the novel.

thursday (night before): I pack, and pack, and do ALL the laundry. YAY!!!! wait it gets better... we set the alarm clock for 4AM

the news we want to tell you, it's not official yet. Some of ya'll know (mainly the g'parents) but I don't want to jinx it so we will wait til it's official.

Friday on the road: alarm does not go off, but we get up at 5:30. so 30 minutes to hurry up and get everything in the car, pack the everyday necessities, and get on the road. we pack everything, but LEAVE most of the stuff at home. cuz I am a genius. so I'm also thinking i-10 goes ALL the way, but it changes to Hwy 90 and we ended up in westwego on the west bank of new orleans. wow...we got lost. but we ended up at the beach..just an hour later than normal. Well, we put a pull-up on for the trip. She didn't potty on herself, she waited til the rest stops. YAY!!! she's officially potty trained. except for night, but that I will wait on. so we drive, drive, and yes drive. we get to Orange Beach at 12.

Friday in Orange Beach: Remember we forgot things at the house, like normal things and our phone charger! I ordered one off of ebay, and it didn't work. so they sent a replacement, and it didn't get to us til friday or saturday. don't know, wasn't home. I went to CVS,and no go. we have a "new" phone I would say. but we went to the beach, then to the hotel, and went back to the beach. pictures below!!! So we drove to Gulf Shores to get a car charger, because our phones were dead. We let her watch TV on them on the way there. She had tons of fun, went to sleep at 5PM and woke up at 7AM!

Saturday: we walked the beach (no pictures, but will upload them from my phone), and then let her swim in the pool. Ok did ya'll watch caddy shack with bill murray? (do not get ahead of me). You know the baby ruth incident? Yea we almost had that accident, via no baby ruth but the real stuff. Good thing it stayed in her bathing suit. that was the "lets go home" incident. I love her. we had fun...tons of fun!

JJ's doctors appointment and news!!

Updating from my phone again!

JJ weighs 18 1/2 lbs. and is 28 inches long for his 8 month appointment. He is doing well. He is cruising around furniture.

The Miller family is making a last minute trip to orange beach thanks to pappy!!! yay! first beach trip and I will blog while Im down there. We may have more news by the end of the week. But thats all I will say at this point. bye for now!!

Hey guys! I can update more now.

Mason is speaking better now. we can now almost hold conversations with her.

I am taking JJ to the doctor tomorrow for his 8 month appointment. So I will update this again tomorrow.

First Words

Well, should I say word?

Well, JJ said his first word today. I was doing something for my business, and all I heard was crying then DADA!!!! Yes, my little boy said dada. I thought I was hearing things. So I went to the PO to drop off a few packages, and while daddy was watching him, he said "dada". so in other words, I'm not going crazy. That's always good right?

We bought Mason a new bedspread of mickey mouse clubhouse. she's slept in her room all night maybe once since last week. and well, I tried the whole let me and JJ sleep in her room. and well, when I leave one child, the other one cries, and it starts to be a really bad domino effect. (would it be considered that?) so Webb had to help, and we just caved and let her sleep with us.
but my genius self forgot to put Mason on a pull-up. I deserve a big pat on the back, b/c I had to wash our sheets. She didn't go until later that night. Some days she wakes up wet, and some days she wakes up dry.

This is how smart Mason is. whenever she gets a bo-bo, she gets some cream on it, band-aid, and some medicine. I went to close it w/o giving her medicine b/c it wasn't a big scrape like her last knee gash she had 2 weeks ago. she wanted her medicine.

well Im going to be a good mommy and order Pizza! Well I don't think I blogged about Mason's LOVE for Pizza. if she could marry pizza, she would. I ordered pizza one day b/c I needed my dr. pepper fix. no i'm not lieing either. and while eating pizza, she said "Mmmmmm pizza good". like her whole being was put into that saying. then when the UPS mans come with my packages, she'll say "pizza!" sad...I know, but she loves pizza.

so now her diet consist of pizza, cheese, chicken nuggets, and fries

wow huh???? gotta love having a picky 2 1/2 year old.

Now it's Time!

Since I have now have a laptop, I have no excuse to neglect this journal again. When I start, someone tell me something.

Mason is doing well. Her potty training is still doing very well. She still has accidents but not as bad. We need to teach her to go potty with her pants on. She gets confused. Her speech is getting so much better. She is starting 2 syllable words.

John is sitting up somewhat, rolling over, trying out how loud he can really be, and on his way to be crawling already. In 2 weeks, JJ will be 6 months old! How fast does pass by, especially when having 2.
JJ is screaming his head off, so I have to go

Wow. Today is Feb. 1! I can't believe it's already a new month of the new year.

Just this week has been nutzo!

let's talk about what I think is potty training. She has her days where she will one accident all together, and some days she doesn't know what the white thing in the bathroom is used for. I know she knows what she is doing. Mason will go on her own, without telling us. she knows how to potty, but she is being really stubborn. When she potties, I pretty much give all my attention to her all together. so It's not an attention thing. but who knows???? well she does, but will she tell me? let me answer with her favorite words SHHH NO!

John just woke up being another kid one day. He's whiny, and wants to be held day. does it happen..oh lord no! He's in good hands, he gets fed, changed, and played with by three people during the day. Well Hooch will look at him when he has a teething biscuit and he just laughs at him. so I can't get anything done at my house. I think he is getting too antsy and wants to be mobile. and good lord when that really happens. I think I have it hard now, not so much.

Mason went to the doctor over a week ago and she weighs 29 lbs! but she has to go tomorrow. so I'll update her weight if it has changed. Since she eats sooooooo well! As I say she eats like crap....

Potty Training end of week 1!

Ya'll are probably wondering how this is going. Well, today, Mason went three times. we didn't know until we checked the potty. We haven't had to change her panties at all. we also have the number 2 down packed. :D so yay! be proud of our little girl!!!!

Potty Training Day 2!

Your probably wondering what about potty training day 1! well, Mason was out of diapers, and I had a decision to make. Buy one more pack of diapers or go buy her some "undwear". Mason says "undwear". so we decided to give this potty training task a whirl! well, Day one, not so bad, but not so good. what do you expect on the first day. She went to the potty twice, and pottied on herself quite a few times. but at the end of the day, when she pottied on herself, she at least let me know. kinda sweet of her right?

It's still early for Potty training day 2..so I'll update at the end of the night.

the orange beach trip is on a no-go of course. we need to take care of things around the house, and get our car a tire. we were going to go to New Orleans this weekend, but with it being cold all week, that's also a no go. we can't win can we?

John has now learned how to roll over, and he is now eating solids. we started him on homemade sweet potatoes, and he loves it. speaking of that, he's up and ready to eat. :D of course huh? so let me go and feed chunky monkey....

ok I'm sorry

I'm really slacking again, but the holidays are officially over. I get kinda sad because we had to take down our beautiful Christmas tree, and back to reality. (poor grammar..forgive me)

We have LOTS of things going on the next month. First...you ready? We going to ORANGE BEACH!!!! We going Jan. 16-18. I'm soooo freaking excited. Its our 2nd wedding anniversary present to each other. It was cheaper to do a trip, then buy each other gifts. So our gift to each other was to take the kids to the beach. So I'm super excited b/c I get to go to Flora-bama! YAY!

Then I decided to try to start John on rice cereal, and the child is clearly not ready for food. So I'm going to wait til the trip and make my own homemade baby food. so much cheaper to do that anyway. so thanks to my Christmas gifts from my dad and money I got, we got a blender! and just try in general. :D

then also we going to do heavy duty potty training on Mason. we going get panties the week after the trip. :D

then John has hit that 4 month sleep regression stage. Let me explain, it's when they go "hey let's be mean and go back to the newborn stage of sleep". so they regress to sleeping like a newborn. I'm exhausted. he would either sleep thru the night or get up at 4 and then sleep until 8. now my lovely son gets up at 12, 3-4, 6, and gets up wide eyed and bushy tailed at 7AM. I'm not liking that.

so nothing much else going on.

next update, I will post pictures. Just have to upload them. I have tons from my camera, and then Mason's new camera from PawPaw john. most of them from her is her face reallly up close. :D
