How is everyone? I hope good. Well, update on Mason's rash.

We took her to the doctor yesterday to follow up from the ER. We found out it's a drug eruption. Let's put that in easy non-doctor terms alrighty. That happens when the Rx drug, body, and infection do not get along. It causes a reaction to the body like a rash and fever. Kind of like a drug allergy, but it isn't. He won't put her on a pencillin for a while to see how her body reacts to other drugs. The rash can last up to 2 weeks. so we have to keep the house really cold, because when she gets hot, she'll let you know. Like she did at 12 am last night. Poor baby woke up crying in pain. I put her on my chest, and tried to put her back to sleep. I'm tired of putting her on drugs. So when she was crying for 30 minutes, I couldn't take it. Poor Daddy was trying to calm both of us down. He did a good job. He went go get her some milk, because she was drinking milk in the middle of the night. We called the doctor in the middle of this hysteria because mommy was freaking out. Now on the top of this, she has a diaper rash. but yet I don't believe it's a diaper rash. If your a woman, you know what I'm talking bout. Poor doody! but she's doing well now. Her rash is still around, but she's acting like herself. which is good. :D

so I just wanted to update everyone. Also, work now begins at 5AM! Yikes!!!

our first trip to the ER!

Yes you read right. :( She had to go to the ER and to find out she's allergic to pencillin. She was ok, but fever and rash. She woke up covered in rash on her chest, and her eyes were swollen shut almost. so we had to take immediate action and off to OLOL we went. OLOL is a very good pediatric hospital. but she's doing better now. but I was off anyway, so I'm taking care of her.

Everyone is fine. Daddy is still a sickly, and I'm just getting over it. Mason is just rashy, but she's good. so we go to the doctor on Friday to have a checkup from the ER.

no, it's not pink eye!

Well hello hello! long time, no blog. I've been taking care of a sick baby and working. First of all, finally I think (emphasis the think) we are feeling better. I just called daddy, and he might have caught the virus that mommy had this past week. :( so that's not good. so tonight, he's getting drugged up on Benedryl and sleep! That's what I needed to get over it in one day, but taking care of her and not resting prolonged everything.

Well, she had to go back to the doctor again Monday. b/c she woke up with green crud in her eyes. and he checked her eyes, and said it wasn't pink eye as of yet. but it's cleared up now, but I still have to put drops in her eyes til Monday. Who woulda thought that was gonna be easy needs to do that to a screaming child. When the doctor looked in her ear, he went "woah". yea that's awesome. I should of had a snazzy comeback, but I said what's wrong?. she has a bad ear infection, cough, runny nose, and yes wooooot eye infection in both eyes. but she was able to go to daycare today, and yesterday. which means she has no fever, she's not contagious. lol I think that's a lie b/c I'm coughing, and stuffed up nose.

as SOME may know, we started co-sleeping with her. I know my parents are shaking their heads and going "bad mommy" right now. But last night was hopefully the last night. She was snoring like as Mason says "pap pap". I know where's the "mom", "nan nan" or "paw paw" I don't know either. she's stuffed up, and I want more room in the bed without waking up with her booty in my face. So we are putting her back in the crib tonight, and hopefully she can be easily transitioned like she is with everything else. Well we tried last night, but she was yelling (not crying) at us to come in and get her. and yes we caved b/c we like our sleep too. Her yell was like "mommy, why'd you kick me out of bed and I won't let you sleep until I get back into it", and she won. She's so much like me, it's not even funny.

Also, we are looking for another place to live. We are miserable here. I love the two office girls, but nothing gets done over here at all. They speed thru the parking lot (which scares me to death), our dogs almost get hit b/c they go about 40 mph in the parking lot. You think I'm joking. We've complained the office and all they say is we can't do anything! WTF! sorry I'm getting mad, and this is all about Mason. lol on with the program...We love the area, but we need to move. Our lease is up in December, but we want to move a month earlier to get our financies together for Christmas. They have new apartment complex coming up in this area, and we have to try other apartments too. I don't want my heart set in one place until we get a "yes". I just adore this area of Baton Rouge. no matter how much I love Lafayette, and surrounding areas and would love to go back "home", this area is starting to feel like a home. so wish us luck on home hunting. I just want out of this place.

other than that, things are good. surprisingly I still have my job w/o going for practically a week. :( that makes me sad. I hate doing that to co-workers, b/c I don't like done to me. But sometimes people do get sick.
