Well, we made it!

I don't know whether to be sad or glad she's one. She's not a "baby" anymore, but not yet quite a "big girl". I know I'll cry tomorrow, b/c my Doody is one.



well, she's been (sorry for the TMI (too much info)) having the bad case of the runs. hence she hasn't been to day care today or won't go tomorrow, runny nose (it's clear now), and being really cranky. so let's all say what I've been hearing, she's TEETHING again. I felt her gums, and saw her gums on top and they are swollen more than normal. For her first two teeth, we had NO symptoms but the crankiness and fever, but that's it. no "OMG I need the facemask to clean my carpet diapers". She had one at day care they had to clean the whole room. Poor doody. so I know it's a virus. Last night, we woke up at 11:00 to a stinky diaper and her shrieking in pain. so I finally put two and two together, and gave her some tylenol, and she slept til I had to leave to go to work today.



this weekend, Nana came by and got to spend time with her. They went to the mall, and she got Mason some shoes! THANK YOU NANA! One less thing I had to do with her. I know she doens't like her feet touched, so I knew that was going to be bad thing. She said Mason was sticking her tongue out at random people. Bad mommy! I'm really glad Nana came and got her. She needed that time with Nana and Nana needed that time with Doody. It was also nice to see my mom.


Well as many of ya'll know, I was in the hospital at this time last year, on my dear husband's birthday. Since I couldn't outdo his present from last year (i will never be able to outdo it ever), he got his fish tank, and a little cake with his lil baby girl. So on with the pictures

Yea, she's snot nosed again!

Yes, as you can tell by the title. She's snot nosed again. Woot 2 days in day care, and sick! I think that's a new record. She woke up with a green nose. I can handle dirty diapers, throw up, and all that stuff, but I gag when I have to use the nose sucker thing. It's soo gross. :(

but no more gross-ness I have cute pictures that I promised next time I'll update. Since I took off today, because she would be uncontrollable at day care.

In my last few posts, I have mentioned my LSB Mommies. Well we had a gift exchange. On our first day of day care, she came home to this from Mrs. Sara, Hayley, and Hannah....

I know everyone was wondering

Well, Hello everyone! I know everyone is wondering how she's handling at day care. She's doing quite well. (well mommy cried more then she did on Monday..known fact). She cried when I left Monday for a few minutes, then she was fine afterwards. She played around with the kiddos, and they said she has an appetite. :D She's been doing quite well in general. She doesn't cry anymore when I drop her off. She'll kiss me bye, and I'm on my way. Its still quite hard for mommy, but mommy will be fine. She says she's hard to put down for a nap, but she was hard with me. so nothing new.

so yes to say I'm shocked, she's doing quite wonderful in day care. not as a bad transition as I even thought. I'm off today, so Webb took off to help me clean our house, and we took her to day care. well she woke up at 5AM this morning, kicking her daddy in the head. so she wanted to go, and we might as well take advantage of it, since I'm paying for it.

while I have mountains of laundry to do, we're taking a break for lunch and update the journal. I will definately update next with a HUGE picture post. Some was when she came from daycare on Monday. Just I'm too lazy to open photobucket, and post pictures.

so everyone be very proud of Doody Head for being really good at day care.

ALSO, update on her birthday party. I'm waiting to see the weather on Friday to make my final decision. (I know the tropical thing on Florida is not making me happy) It could be beautiful, and I will not be happy. If it does happen, we'll re-schedule it for next weekend. So I will keep everyone updated on here. I should of seen this coming. Last year was the only weekend since I started dating Webb, it was beautiful around his birthday. :(

We survived...

Mason has survived her first hurricane. Well let me tell you the story....its two stories in one. I went to work on Wednesday, and was told we had to put a pink sticker on everything that was clearance. So I woulda stayed til about 1 or 2...or maybe 3. I called my dad to get ahold of him. well I called the house many of times, and it was nothing but a busy signal. So I figured that either one of the dogs or Mason took the phone off the hook. That wouldn't be the first time. So I wasn't too worried. But then at 10:30, they told me to go home because Webb would of been worried. So I go home, and find out that our phone and internet is down. I thought it was just the service was down, but Webb said he spilled something in the modem. So we gave it until the night to see if it dried, and be ok. Well, it wasn't. I had no internet for 2 days. oh well no biggie. I'm alive. So we went to bed, and I watched Top Chef then went to sleep. Remember I didn't watch the news, didn't have internet or anything.

So next morning comes, Webb checks the weather and says "it kinda looks like a hurricane", but I'll still go to work to see if we are working. So he went, and maybe 20 - 30 minutes pass by, and he came back home. He said the boss didn't show up. We learned on Friday he tried to call the house (hence we didn't have a properly working phone line at the time). So we turned on the actual news and hear "Hurricane Humberto". and the first thing out of my mouth was "what hurricane!?!". So We just got a lot of rain until about 2 or 3. We went to Target and got a cellphone for this kinda of thing. We had to go to her doctor and get her shot records for the Day Care and the assistance application. So we come home, let her nap, and then take her to day care to get acquainted with everyone she'll be in contact with. She did ok. It wasn't as bad as I thought she would be. but yet, I was still there. so Monday I will see how everything goes. They had a little boy that was hugging her, kissing her. Where is Parker when she needs him huh? (back on Parker later). But she will be fine. Her teacher loves her. She's soo sweet. Webb met everyone too. I thought he should know everyone too, b/c he's a huge part on her life.

Then on Friday, the cableman came, and it was because the modem was fried. so Webb did it!!!!

ok I'm part of a Mommy group on Babycenter.com, called Late September Babies (LSB). Its a group that have babies born in Late September. DUH i know everyone can read. We pretty much confide in each other, and tell each other what our babies are doing, if they are sick, and get and give really good advice. I love each and every one of them. Well one is from Louisiana, and her name is Christina, who has a son named Parker. Parker is Mason's boyfriend, b/c they both look at each other's pictures all the time. it's quite cute. so one day we shall meet. You'd be shocked b/c we have some huge football fans on that board. So there is Jenny who is a Auburn fan, Cindy who is a Tenn fan, Tracey who is a Gator fan (BOOO!), and a few others. so yea we actually don't talk smack as of yet. but it will be coming. Jenn, Jill, Val, Lily, Lisa, Megan, Sara , Kimmo, Jenn M, Amy, Amy N, Sal, and everyone else. :D They are plenty of thing I could post about each of these lovely ladies, but this would make it a complete novel. But LSB Mommies..I love ya'll!!!!

Just Another day!

Well everything is wonderful over here. We have another week until day care. And almost 2 weeks until her birthday party. She's doing better. no more snot nose, and no more playing with her ear. :D

I also will just serve cake, cookies, and drinks. If things change at the very last minute, I will call everyone.

I have 11 days until....

Mason starts daycare on Sept 17. She can't start until she's done with her medicine. I don't think she's contagious, but I don't want to risk it. Thank you Kristen!! I definately have mixed emotions about it. I'm glad she's going into day care, but my little girl is starting it, and won't be home all day. They understand she only knows me, and so she knows what to expect. She says she'll have a tough transition, but she'll be fine. She has 4 people in her class in+cluding her. 2 boys (uh oh), and 1 girl (who looks like her..weird). Her teacher's name is MissMillie, who reminds me of Ms. Fountain. Ms. Fountain would be my Kindergarten teacher. She's so unbelieveably sweet. I need to keep telling myself she's gonna be fine. Yea I'll cry, I know it. Well the rate of the daycare is 130/week, which is not bad for BR. Others I've called have been 150-180. which is quite expensive in my opinion. So I'm going to see if we qualify for child care assistance to help us out in that expense. I think we qualify, so I'll try anyway. Just waiting for her shot records now. So be proud of all of us, because this was a huge step for all of us to take. :( it makes me sad, but I'll be ok.

Good morning everyone! I know I didn't make a picture post the last time, but I'm making up for it today. :D :D but I have to ramble a little bit.

I noticed when Doody head gets mad, she'll vigorously put her hands in her mouth and bites completely down. It's quite funny to me. She's gonna learn she has teeth eventually and it's gonna hurt to do that.

Alright I'm done with rambling, and on with the show! There is a surprise for PawPaw John at the end. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAWPAW JOHN!!!

Well everyone......Just for PawPaw John! :D :D :D (she doesn't look too enthusiastic, but deep down she is! HEHE)

Also, I need everyone to RSVP for the party, so I know who is all coming. I have RSVP's from Pappy (that includes Mrs. Sherry, Jake, Is Breezer coming BTW?), PawPaw John, Eric, and Kristen (her two kiddos), Justin and his clan, and the Adams Family (HEHE). I need RSVPs from the other people. So get to me ASAP. I need them by the middle of the week of next week, so I can start getting everything together like food. btw..whatcha'll (I just made up that word) wanna eat???? Thanks. Like Mother Like Daughter

Hello again! Today was a very eventful day. I went to work today, and then after we took Mason to the Doctor. She's had a runny nose for the past week. *hence* if you are either my mom or dad, you know why I wrote the title. YEA! Let me let you into the story. Anytime anyone with a white jacket or my doctor walked by the room (not in), I would cry uncontrollably. It was bad. She was fine, til we had to put her down, so he can check her ears, throat, and nose. Yea, she was had the gung-fo grip on mommy. Cried, and cried and cried. Well, coming to this, she has a cold, and a sinus-induced ear infection. We also saw that she is cutting another tooth. so that could be why she's been cranky. cold, ear infection, and a nabbing tooth. wow...but at least she smiled at the doctor whenever he left. so apparently he isn't so bad. but she's about as happy as a clam

so after that we went to Target when the sky fell (literally) to get her prescription. So we actually walked around for a little while, played with toys, daddy played with PS3, and mommy was trying to find some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse things. If anyone finds a Mickey Mouse that sings "hot dog hot dog hot diggity dog", please buy it and I'll pay you back ASAP. So we got her medicine. and no pink bubble gum stuff. we got the orange stuff, and some other medicine. she likes both of them, because she grunted at me when I walked away.

Ok I gotta go, she's playing with the mouse. Love ya'll!

Happy Labor Day!

Well hello, and Happy Labor Day. Enjoy your day off, eat a bunch of BBQ or whatever you plan on eating, and sleep all day.



Well, the day has come that makes me happy, yet sad. Grandparents, friends, and aunts and uncles, get your Kleenex out, because you will cry. Ok well I did, but I'm her momma. Just wait til she can walk, or until the day she turns one. I'm gonna be a complete utter mess. Well, I have a couple more of those days until Mason has my grand kids and I'll go thru it again. But lookie what Mason has learned to do:

Here's the one I like the most..btw Check out her physique. (however you spell it)...isn't she just nice and plump. Oh yea she was eating sausage and red gravy and green beans (that I made)...I think I need to start my own cooking show. :D

While I was trying to update this journal for her, she has learned how to press the "blue" button on the computer. hehe...I hope everyone has enjoyed their little cry for the day. Seeing these pictures, and realizing she isn't the little baby that was lying around all day anymore. Just kinda makes me sad that she is getting so big.

We're going look at day cares in the next few weeks. It's time to break down and put her in daycare. I'm getting more hours at work, and I want her to have the socialization with kids her age. and most likely she will kiss them.
